On 14th September 2014, in partnership with Stockland Green Ward Advisory Board, we are hosting the first ever Stockland Green World Cup Cricket Day! If you feel yourself to be a frustrated Ian Bell or a budding Moeen Ali, we would very much like you to come along and join in the fun. Alternatively, if you’re happier taking things easy and just spectating, please bring a deck chair.
The game will get our community talking to each other. There will be five teams randomly selected from those who have expressed an interest in taking part, who will each play throughout the day culminating in a grand finale. Each participant will receive a medal for taking part and there will be free refreshments and access to all necessary equipment. Whats not to like?
To register your interest please contact Mary Kennedy on 0121 303 7975 or via email address mary.kennedy@birmingham.gov.uk
