This is the second year of the Stockland Green Community Awards which will see a total of 10 awards made to local persons who have made a positive difference within the area.
Nominations must be made using the official nomination form which in addition to being available widely throughout Stockland Green, can be obtained by contacting Mary Kennedy, District Ward Support Officer on telephone number 0121 303 7975

Advice desks are an opportunity for you to raise any issues you have with me or one of the team
Stockland Green is keen to create a lasting memorial to commemorate the centenary of World Ward One.
Highcroft Community Centre are delighted to be supporting a Guinness World Record attempt at Brookvale Park, which hopefully, will see 850 people plant 5 bulbs each to create a lasting Memorial
The Organisers – Stockland Green Ward Advisory Board wish to welcome people of all ages and ability to take part in the event.
The event will take place no matter what the weather at 1.00 p.m. and although the World Record attempt will take only 5 to 10 minutes to complete, registration and placement will mean that the event runs for about one and a half hours. Come along – bring a trowel –- meet your neighbours – make a positive difference!
Taking place every Friday morning, from 10am to 1pm, The Job Club offers jobs guidance & search assistance. If you’re requiring any kind of help to look for work, it provides an array of services such as, CV development and internet services for job searches/emails.
